Looking to buy or lease a unit. Does anyone have any experience with them? I'm thinking alsa corp. chromefx system. Thanks for any help or advice :welcome:

Don't waste your money, they do not produce acceptable results. There have been several reviews of the Alsa system posted in this forum and they are not positive. Here is one

Can you use powder coat? Summit has one of the best Extreme Chrome coating on the market.

I can use powder coat. We tried eastwoods before a couple years ago.

He's talking about the actual spray on system like Goldtouch's CosmicChrome or Spectra Chrome. Something totally different than the stuff out of the can provided by alsa, which is junk.

I've seen great results with the cosmic chrome system its just all about the prep work (as with anything).

A company in town uses this and it's pretty cool. The real selling point is being able to do colored "chrome" which is really cool.

It wouldn't do me any good to invest in it, as i would have everything around the house chromed and color chromed.
