Took me a minute, but I think I see. The 'link bar' is upside down, yes? Pull lifter pair, rotate lifter bodies 180° on the link bar, and reinstall?
I have it happen at least 3 times a year sir. Simple mistake. They will go in upside. I actually had a customer that called and his engine was down on power by about 120HP from where it should have been. When he took it apart he thought he had a couple of Morel lifters that had failed on the dyno. He sent me pictures of the "failed" lifters. I emailed him back and said yes the lifters failed but it wasnt' the lifters fault, it was who ever that assembled the engine and put the lifters in upside down as in the picture the lifters were in the engine upside down.
Again simple mistake that does happen each year.
