i have a 1973 f100 2wd i want to make it 4wd have 82 f150 for parts would it be easier to swap parts or bodies

easier to do a body swap, but the '82 has the weak frame I'm pretty sure.. know they had them in '83

Ford bodies and chassis, 2wd and 4wd are not the same and require much work to interchange in even the same body configuration. The outer skin is for the most part the same, but recall that Ford changed the body style significantly after 1979.

Why not fix the '82 instead of punishing yourself with a lot of extra work

i would fix the 82 but the body has almost rusted away aint much left of it
