Im going to be installing some braided brake lines i have 3/16 steel lines but what size braided line should i use they have AN3 & AN4.

Just choose one with the sized end fittings you need. Diameter of line has no impact on brake function.

Leave your hard lines as they are. Replace them if there coroded with the same. The three rubber lines (two front & one rear) are the only places to use the braided lines and as Willys said use what ever size mates up with everything your using. If you have a factory set up Russel and others supply replacement kits to upgrade to braided lines.

The braided steel lines on my rod have 3 AN fittings on them.

You can get fittings to go from 3/16" hard line to go to either -3 or -4. I use -3 when I run brake lines.
