hey guy's I'm new here so please be gentle, any help would be great. I have a 58 ford station wagon that I want to change my drum brakes to disc, I know fatman has a kit that should work, they use granada spindles (75-80 ). These are 3" drop spindles can anyone tell me the pro and cons to doing this, the wagon needs lowered but I'm not sure how this affects tire clearance or limits wheel size. Hope this isn't a stupid question I should have payed more attention to my dad when he was trying to teach about cars. Thanks

Thanks for the info, I've seen in other replys about drop spindles that a few guys thought there were some negative sides to this, what would they be?

There are none on the GRANADA conversion that I know of. I just personally don't like slammed cars. The 57/58 came from the factory low.

Thanks again, the back of my wagons front fender sit's about 8" off the ground, I don't care that much for slamed cars either just trying to get a nice look on an old wagon.
