Sorry to be asking this probably well worn topic, but I am looking for suggestions for gray leather power bucket seats for a 32 Ford 2dr Sedan. I currently have gray leather heated buckets from a 2001 Mazda Millenia, but they are from a 4 dr car. This means they do not fold forward to allow easy access to the back seat. I need tips on what coupe style donor cars have narrow leather buckets without cloth inserts. Power would be nice, but not critical.

Here's my take on selecting seat some of witch goes against what you are looking for. First, the headrest must be removable. I don't like the headrest sticking up but that's a safety item to many. Second, the seat must be able to fit into the space allotted. Super wide seats from a belchfire 8 just will not fit in a narrow car. Third, I don't want power everything because there can be too much demand on the electrical system with A/C etc. in a street rod (KISS). Last is folding seats (for a sedan). Notice I did not list color/material. Chances of getting theses two to match what you have is slim to say the least. I have them covered to match my interior once I select the seats I want. In some cases the foam needs to be corrected anyway. Last set I got was from a Hyundai.

Thanks for the opinions. I agree mostly. Since I already customized the rear seat from the same Mazda Millenia and it has subtle headrests built in, I will keep the headrests. The space is very tight. My current seats are 21.5" and touch each other and the door panels, but fit and don't interfere with the doors closing. Having power seats is not a priority, but with a 100amp alternator and a 21 circuit wiring kit, I have the circuit there already. I found Procar seats on Speedway for $600/pair delivered. These are vinyl but meet the other requirements. Anyone have experience with these?

Got my Hyundai seat from a junk yard in El Paso. Cost more because they were leather. Price was $50 for the pair. go to the junkyard with a tape measure and save money.

Early to mid 80s Ford Escort seats are the bomb, not electric, not heated, but they are fairly narrow and common, they are seriously comfortable too. Adapted a pair to fit into my Chevrolet Cavalier Z24 convertible.
