i heard you couldnt wax satin black why it dont ruin it, which makes sense to me but can you buff it? im painting sherwin williams satin black enamel. please dont laugh im new to paint and body work :)

Satin black

Satin colors have a flatener in the paint to kill the gloss. if you wax or especially buff the finish, it smoothes out that dull skin that the flattener produced. If you don't plan on painting for a LONG time and want to make your finish look a little more fresh, wipe it down with transmission fluid. That'll bring out the color without comprimising the dull sheen.
