i need the back half of a '57 Buick 2-door hardtop roof
but i only need the back half were the back glass is at
from the bottom of the glass to about 4 inch's at the top
i like this back window and would like to use it when i do
the chop top on my 1953 Chevy 210 anybody know were
i can get one let me know thanks buggmann

When I worked in a wrecking yard, around 1979 or so, I cut one of those roofs off for a customizer from the bay area, he was going to use it on a 57 chevy. It was from a 57 Oldsmobile though. They are one cool looking roof, I'll look around some, probably tuff to find a good one w/o rust.

i found this one on a site for sale but it to far from
me and i don't have the money their asking for it but
i also like the roof from a 1940 Mercury Coupe and the
willy's coupe but don't know were i can get one of them
but still looking do you know if they make a after market
part for one of them let me know

That roof is MUCH wider than the 53 Chevy so you would need to narrow it in the middle and make a new glass which is curved so it will complicate things a little.

i just like the look of the back glass
i think the 1951 Chevy had that same
look but not sure

But they didn't have the "wind splints" (?) going down the roof between them! That was one of the coolest looks ever. The thing is, the rest of the car had the same look, while a 49-54 Chevy didn't. JUST putting the roof on would be a mistake in my opinion. But with many other changes, that's different. But more mods woudl be needed to make it "work".
