anyone have any input on building custom door hinges for my car? i dont know for sure how to make them swing out enough so they wont hit the body, but i do want to use a pin design where i could just pull the pin out and take the door off

I sent you an email with a design for hidden hinges. Key in any hidden hinge is to snuggle the pivot pin to as close to the corner made by the body and the doorjamb as possible. Ideal situation would be to have the hinge axis exactly through that corner but that is not possible.
