Been trying to find the rpm range on this cam profile.

Clevite 229-1713 (specs from the box)

duration @ .050 int .223 - exh .223
advertised duration int .290 - exh .290
lope spread 114
lash hydraulic
valve lift int .447 - exh .447
cam lift int .298 - exh .298

This is the clone to the original GM "151" 327-350 horsepower hydraulic cam.

Most cam manufacturers list this cam's basic power range from 2200-5200 RPM.

Years ago, this was the ultimate street hydraulic cam to use for daily use.

Alot of Z-28s had their 30-30 cam replaced with one of these.


Good all around camshaft, but some of the more modern profiles will out perform it.
