I would say that it would be somewhere in the 1500-5500 range in a 350.

Which one will be a better match for the cam? Edelbrock performer or performer rpm.

This is the clone to the original GM "151" 327-350 horsepower hydraulic cam.

Most cam manufacturers list this cam's basic power range from 2200-5200 RPM.

Years ago, this was the ultimate street hydraulic cam to use for daily use.

Alot of Z-28s had their 30-30 cam replaced with one of these.


Good all around camshaft, but some of the more modern profiles will out perform it.

Do you thing stock vortec heads could handle this cam or should it have the springs upgrades? Thinking of getting the Scoggin-Dickey heads.

For safety sake, I would get the heads with the spring upgrade, and then use a set of 1.6 rockers.
