I put new springs in my 68 el camino. when i drive it, it is not very rigid. The springs are new as are the shocks but the shocks are generic. should i replace the shocks? then see if that helps?

or can i swap out the fronts with bbc springs? has anyone done this? if so what was the result?

Does the car have a sway bar? Try gas shocks I used the white Kyb shocks on my 1967 El Camino with heavy duty or a/c springs,almost to stiff.

1 inch bar in the rear

1 1/4 in the front

my shocks are white....do yours say kyb on them? what are ac springs?

I have heavy duty's in the rear.
