Aww give em' a break, they're just milking it because they know that they are going to burn out at any time....burn out more?.....again?..... I thought they were gone already?
(1) Purchaser must be a SAM'S CLUB® Member. (2) The first Member to complete the wire transfer of $137,000

I thought people joing sams clubs to get even lower prices than walmarts already cheap prices....What makes them think a buncha walmart shoppers have 137,000
They are both sellouts and morons double whammy for the occ idiots. Thats like one of the shows i do actually watch when im at my buddies house. I like the idea of the show, but they are a buncha goofs.
Their show is far more tolerable to me than watching American Hot Rod with Boyd Coddington. That guy just makes me want to kick the TV screen in. And his sidekick (or lead project coordinator - whatever you want to call him) talks with the same inflections as Pauly Jr. does...lol. Drives me crazy.
I would do the same thing. If someone thought I was a sellout- big deal. My bank account would be fat and I could send my kids to university and never worry about the cost. I don't see a down side.
Do you guys see all the people walking around decked out in OCC clothing!? I just don't get it.
I believe what OCC is doing is called marketing and capitalism.
I'd probably do it too if I were them, so would any of you for that matter.

That aside, I think it sucks. THere's two pieces of tin on the bike, I guess they're cool, but you know they outsourced the paint. All the pegs and grips I think are production. THe exhaust looks production. I think the wheels are too.

Basically I think they crapped the bike out.

K
i wish some one would give me that kind of money for one of my turdy old bikes. sell out, hell yes. for that kind of money?

just think, in ten years, those occ shirts will be retro.
What is the "theme" of that bike?

I think most of us are sick of OCC, but they do what they do very well. From a business standpoint, i believe Paul Sr. is very smart. Yeah they got "lucky" with the TV show, but they would have succeeded without it (probably wouldnt be making much on T-shirt sales though.....)
I hate OCC thats all I see people wearing, its dumb, retarded , stupid, its overall annoying
Listen dudes, if you could buy tanks, fenders, frames and engines from various vendors, pay some schlep to paint and stripe it for you and all you have to do is slap the thing together to make a 300-400% profit what would you do? Claim your "art" is more valuable than a few million bucks? Shut up.

The aspect that annoys me about their show is when you see them working on something -say and axle - and Jr. is just hammering the hell out of the part to try and make it fit. And after about an hour of this someone goes "crap, we're using the wrong spacer" ....

Can you imagine you are sitting at home with your $150K bike watching these cro-magnons beat on it with a hammer trying to put it together......:pain:

ahahaha, maybe thats why they are always running so close to ever present deadline.

I do watch that show, the most annoying part is watching how the dad treats his son. Jr.'s going to be therapy in ten years.
