I am interested in purchasing a Demon carb and don't have enough info to select the one I need, so I am looking for what will get me close. I have a 350 chev with 202 heads and a healthy cam(I don't have specs) Supposed to be 12:1 compression or so but don't know for sure. Victor junior intake, HEI ignition, crappy running Edelbrock carb. 14lbs of vacum at idle. 4 speed with 373 gears and normal height tires in a 1962 Impala(heavy car) The thing Is pissed from 3000 rpm on up. Inconsistency with the carb at idle and seems to leak down as well. I would like to replace carb. Is this enough info or what else should I look at?

Why don't you rebuild your carby? Is it that bad?

Can't say for sure without more cam info but they suggested the 650 speed demon man sec for my 350 with pretty much the same set up. I've had it for a month now, great carb.
