eps performer intake

comp xe 268 cam

have new 600 and 750 edelbrock performer carbs

want more low end not a 6000 rpm motor

gut says go w/ 600

what do you think?

Honestly I think 600 would work well for you but since you have both carbs and it is one of the more simple switches you can do I say try both and if you really find that one works better then the other then use that. If both of them work the same and feel the same then use the 600 and save some gas. Thats my two cents

out of the 2 Id say the 600. 600 cfm will be pleny up to 5500 RPms or so.

Definitely go with the 600 if yours is a street light bandit. Vastly better throttle response and as the guys say above, the smaller carb will probably still have longer legs than your engine on the top end.

Because a 750 on a 350 is perfect for street use along with/for performance use.

You dont always have to follow everyone else you know.

sure... if its a q jet. There's a difference between recommending a 750 square bore carb and a qjet 750...

The 750 will prolly give ya a wee bit more power but at the sacrifice of throttle response.For lowend response go 600.
Being as you have both do like said and swap um out and see what ya like.You may find the 750 to not be so bad reponse wise and find a little added power or you may hate it.But try um both.

Killer, Ive been over the spread bore/square bore issue with that guy I dont know how many times. seems to think the 2 cfm/ci logic applys across the board.

The difference in your top end using a 750 as opposed to a 600 will be nominal unless your motor is a high winder. You will not see (seat of pants) any difference between the two. The 600 will give you virtually the same performance with much better throttle response than the 750.

But if you have both try them - see how you feel about the two.

TCamaro, exactly, & the guy says he'll stay under 5500 RPMs.
If he was reving it to say 6000 RPMs ,Id say the 600 would be a little small, but still, I dont think Id use a 750.

I say use the 750. I got a Holley 750 Double Pumper on my 350

If it is not then you are not comparing apples to apples.
