I have a pro-comp electronic ignition system and I want to adjust the idle speed of the motor. Where do I hook up my tach so I can read the rpms. Also on a carter afb what is the best way to adjust the fuel mixture so it doesn't bur lean or rich.

This link has the Pro Comp phone number at the top. Call 'em up and ask, rather than taking someone else's word for it and maybe fraggin' the system.

While you have 'em on the phone, ask 'em to send you the owner's manual or instruction manual.

As far as the carb, here is the info I provided another poster...The Edelbrock Performer is a knock-off of the Carter AFB....same parts fit....

Here's the Edelbrock Owner's Manual. Use it to do step by step tuning of your carb......

Here are 6 pages of jets....

And 10 pages of metering rods. Be careful here, they have Quadrajet rods mixed in with Performer rods. There are also Summit brand rods for Performers....

And 4 different diameter needle and seat combos....

I just put one in my 41 willys... If you have the ignition box set up, look under the box, it show's you where to hook the tach.. :)
