i have a 1951 chevrolet car i am restoring and i want to convert from 6volts to 12volts. i want to try and use a alternator with a build in regulator, because someone said that was the most easier way to go.
Welcome. Yes, a GM alternator with integral regulator is absolutely the best way to go. Be sure to post any specific electrical questions in the Electrical Forum.
