If you have the funds to get your frame powder coated....get it powder coated...you'll have a much better finish and more durable than Chassis Saver.

If you do a search here, you will find several discussions paint vs PC. Most of the detractors say "if you miss welding a bracket on, you wont be able to touch it up" Duh!! Do it right before you PC

I have it on my '31 and since I built it 'right' never had that problem. My only advice to anyone PC'ing a frame - black is easy to touch up if you do screw up and do gouge it - but in 4 years driving mine is still pristine.

I went with powder coating - good looking durable finish. If I did have to weld something on, I'd clean that part of the PC off, then paint just that part. Overall it would still look better. Mine's gloss black.
