Have a 350 block, that has the oil sending unit stripped out....is there a repair I can do, or do I drill it out bigger? I need help here......Thanks

You can either go to 1/4 pipe or we have machined the top of the block down about a 1/4 of and inch and and retap 1/8 inch pipe either way will work

I think there are also several places to get oil pressure: there's one at the back of the oil galley, one at the front, and one or two right by the oil filter.

Its not a pretty fix, but you could stuff a 1/8" plug down in the hole threading it as best as you can, then braze the plug in place. Another thing you can do is drill it out straight and use a freeze plug like is used at the ends of the oil galley.

yes they do. For a 1/8-27 NPT Helicoil, the part NO: is 3371-2. The price from MSC Supply is about $65.

Might want to drill and tap it for a 1/4-18 and use a reducing bushing from 1/4 down to 1/8. Cast iron taps easy. Plus it is a way lot cheaper. ...russ
