I have these casting numbers on my block, and trying to find out when, where, year and maybe what kind of car the block was put in.

VO518ABT

Are you sure about the last two letters? Could you have switched them?

I believe V0518ABT represents:
V = Flint
05 = May
18 = 18th day

ABT = ????

I found an ATB, but no ABT:
ATB 1989 305 190 TPI LB9

Maybe somebody else has a better list than me...
