I have a 65 Polara hard top,I want to chop it 4 inchesand save the front and rear glass. I was told that I could sink the glass into the cowel panel and the deck lid, is that true? Any tips or info will be greatly welcomed. I have chopped a roof before an my 49 Merc but I dont think I can lean the rear window because of the rear quarter glass goes up and down and it has to line up.

Welcome to the board. Yes, sinking the glass to avoid cutting is an age old trick. You would be better off posting this question on the Body - Exerior forum. This forum is for general introductions so doesn't get great tech exposure.
