I need to remove all the chipped factory paint from my chrome emblems. What should I use?

#0000 Steel wool

I believe that super fine steel wool #000 or #0000 should do the trick. It won't scratch the chrome, but should remove the paint.

This stuff is thick. That might take a while. Is there a chrome-safe paint stripper I could use with it?

Try plane old lacquer thinner. I've used it in the past and it worked. I've also used buffing compount and it worked too.
