As long as the distributor body has the snap levers to the adapter yes, some of the later Ford distributors bolted the adapter down but that may have been EFI versions.

I actually went the other way, I put the adapter cap and rotor from a duraspark distributor on my points distributor because I like the looks and the positive wire retention, plus the terminals are farther apart so there's less chance of crossfire with msd.

You'll need the points cap, rotor and plug wires for the swap.
