I just read the codes from my car and it said "p0340 camshaft position sensor. A circut (Bank 1 or single sensor) - circut malfunction". What exactly does that mean? I read up a little bit online about it, and it seems like simptoms are Hard starting or no start, Rough running / misfiring, Loss of engine power. Im not really having any of those problems... it runs like everything is fine.

Also, how can I check the circut and try to identify exactly where the problem is? Where should I look or do what?

If it is running fine it may just be an old code that is stored in memory. Clear the codes and then run it and don't worry about it until starts running rough or not running at all.

well, I took my car to work this morning and there we go again - the same code popped up. So, Im guessing there is some sorta wiring problem or something along those lines...

where is the sensor located on a 95 3.8 Mustang? Or where is the first place I should look... cause Im really suspecting some kinda wiring issues.
