I have 1988 fifth ave with bad rear springs havent yet found any im on a real tight budget has anyone ever tryed to put coil springs in a car like this or coil overs any ideas would be great only a few weeks tll spring

IMHO ..
replacing the original springs with stock type replacements would be a LOT easier and more cost effective than trying to adapt something else to work ...

Just my nickel ...

Does that car have coil springs in it now? If so, they are not very expensive or hard to replace.
