Im thinking about getting one of these bolt in from Strange Engineering. Has anybody ordered one from them berfor? I was planning on getting 3.73 gears and posi for my 10 bolt that is already in my car but came across the whole thing from these guys and a few others. Its more money but everything brand new. hers a link

I am also interested in this setup. I noticed that this is for Camaro...Will it work fine in a 68 firebird? Will this 10 bolt handle 400 to 500 hp? Any benefits for going to a 12 bolt?

you have an 8.2 more than likely, if you're talking about stock. Thy're not a bad rear, but an 8.5 10 bolt is a pretty stout rear. You could go 12 but its a lot tougher swap (although common)

i know it's been about 6 months since you posted , did you go with the strange setup? i'm thinking about going with them for my chevelle. it looks like a pretty serious piece of hardware , and they're only about an hour south of me so i could just drive down and pick it up. anyone else have any opinions on thier dana 60 setup?
