I need some advise with the engine conversion I am doing with my FJ60 '87 Toyota Land Cruiser. I am using Advanced Adapters Kit to install a Chevy 350 small block in the Cruiser. I have the engine in the vehicle an in the process of connecting the fuel lines to the carb. The carb I am using is an Edelbrock #1400 that has a fuel vapor canister port. The fuel pump is a stock mechanical pump with an input and output connection, it does not have a return line port. The Toyota has a charcoal canister with a vent inlet from the tank and two ports that were valve controlled and connected to the old carb. It has a return line also with a sealed fuel cap. My problem is the canister is bulky and would be a pain to try and reinstall and connect the various lines. I need to control fuel vapor around the engine compartment. I am sure this conversion has been done numerous times but I am having a hard time reaching the best way to complete the process. Can anyone help with my problem?
