The conversion your looking to do is a piece of cake. I had a 56 Ford Club Coupe that I put a 351W and C-4 in. For headers I used Hooker headers made for a Ford Ranchero with a 351 and a 4 Speed and they dropped right in. Naturally as with all conversions you have to finagle them in. The only thing special is you have to get a new driveshaft made up. For the rear end I used a Ford 9 inch that I had cut down with a 4:11 Posi. The car was a terror from light to light. It would stay with just about anyone because it would just grab and go while everyone else smoked the tires. Do the conversion and enjoy.
