Replacing my intake manifold gasket and need to know where the drain plug for the coolant is, if they even have one. I dont want to have to take off the lower radiator hose and make a massive mess if I dont absolutely have to, but I am willing to. Thanks

Depends on how old the engine is and how much it’s been molested over the years.

A long time ago Chevy put a twist valve drain fitting on the lower side of each bank. This was later replaced with a screw in plug. These are located above the pan rail about mid casting on each side.
