I am getting a coolant leak on my 350, it is right above the starter. I am gonna pull the starter and take a look, thought I would ask though, as I just changed the pan gasket when I built the motor.

About the only thing in that area that would leak coolant is a freeze plug. Hope you didn't crack the block.

ok I forgot to put a bolt in where the dipstick goes......sorry I posted. lol I was an idiot

I don't know, but the leak stopped and it is fine now. I have a new problem though, but I will post it in the electrical section

Hmm, very odd, since the dipstick hole has nothing to do with the coolant passages.

For your electrical problem, maybe putting more air in your tires will solve it!

hahhah no I also tightened the bolt for the coolant on the side of the block below the exhaust manifold aswell. Coolant was leaking from it when I was pouring it in the rad. But yeah....funny about the tires cause they do need air.....somehow I can't see it helping the wiring though 8)

It'll Help as much as putting a Bolt in an Oil hole, when looking for a Coolant Leak............

Sometimes if you can't find something; start looking for something else. You'll normally trip over the item you were looking for first.
