Yep...thats a rear end allright!!
Pick up the rear end and put two jack stands under it...one on each side/or end and turn the brake drum and count how man times the universal turns around for every one revolution of the brake drum... That will tell you what the gear ratio is. Do you have any idea what it came out of?
