Just picked up a nice Crossram with 2-600 carbs. Am going to put it on a 383 Stroker Chevy small block. Any tips or ideas on this setup??

Racing manifold. Not the best for street use. Doesn't come on until upper rpms.

On the one I had you had to have the distributoro loose in the manifold hole and put the distributor and intake manifold down the same time. I had a mallory dual point distributor that used the crab Dist cap. 4 wires going east and 4 going west.

Edelbrock is junk, I replaced mine with a Weiand , plus its a air gap from the 60's which 40 years later is new to Edelbrock intakes

Weiand is the best cross ram I have used to date, tuning is no problem if you know what your doing.
Idles at 650 rpm with 2 X 650's & annular boosters, use square jetting
A Roller motor is the best way to go.
