I don`t think it can be done at home huh? Would you cut down existing glass (1954) or just buy new? Thanks guys!!

Get it cut in a glass shop. Your rear window could be ground down at home with a stained glass shaper, maby the front one to, but for all ease intent and purpose its simpler to get a glass shop to do it. Its not very exspensive.
