I have been modifying a couple heads here and there for screw in studs and larger springs and higher valve lifts. I was wondering if you guys have any good ideas on building a fixture that will allow me to do this on the drill press. I have been doing them with a variable speed corded drill and im just looking at a more efficient way to do these and also I can do it with a consistent speed and pressure if i do it with a drill press. Im looking at something that I can bolt to the table and fasten a head to it. 99.9% of what I do is SBC so I will build it for that.

Any ideas on what is available out there on the market for me to maybe purchase directly? I can make it but If I can find something like this already built for a reasonable price it will probably be worth it.

Won't comment on the appropriateness of DP's and headwork.........

But here's "probably" the fastest way to get started on fixturing.Starting with this and then snag a cpl right angle plates.
