I recently noticed that my casting numbers on the heads on my sbc 350 are different one is (3973487) 350Lt1 75 chamber and the other is (3986336) 350 76 chamber is this bad.

There's at least that much chamber volume variance in any two heads, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

What might concern me is not knowing if the valve sizes are the same head to head.

Many stock rebuilds use different heads. most shops know which heads are similar enough to use. I built a boat motor with two different heads of very similar qualities.

As long as you aren't building a big HP performance engine, don't worry.
