I have 4 cylinder heads that I'm trying to identify. 1) GM17T, 2)GM18T), 3)GMT15T, and 4)GM20T. I've looked on line and can't seem to find these numbers. Help will be greatly appreciated.
Typically numbers like those are foundry ID codes and won't help you ID the head.

Look instead for a casting number (usually at least 6 digits) and/or casting dates. The format for date codes can vary but GM uses a alpha-numeric code most often, it might look like "C 12 4" which would be:

• C = March (A = Jan., B = Feb., etc.)
• 12 = day of the month
• 4 = year ending in 4, i.e. 1964, 1974, 1984, etc.

cylinder head identification

I tried to clean and scrape the build up off of the casting numbers but, they were still unreadable. that's why I gave the numbers I could read. I appreciate the help I was given.
