I am currently restoring a '49 Ford F3. My plan is to turn it into my everyday driver so I am making some upgrades to it. I am putting a 390 BB engine with a 4-speed Top Loader Transmission. Next I am also converting it to 4WD. I have a NP205 Transfer Case and Plan to put a Ford 9" in the Rear and a Dana 44 up Front.

My question is which axle is better for my application a solid front axle Dana 44 High Pinion or the TTB Dana 44?

Now remember this is going to be my everyday ride so I'm looking for comfort. I won't be taking this off road or rock crawling. The only reason I'm putting 4WD in is for the winter time in the snow and ice.
