My 54' Chevy has two gauge problems...
First, the speedo is about 10mph too high at 60 mph and is pretty bouncy. How to do I get this to read correctly and stable? It is hooked up to a 350 trans and has a 3.08 rear gear set.
Second, the original gas gauge is not working. There was an external gauge mounted under the dash that seems to work but is not correct. About 1/4=empty and 3/4=full. The car runs on 12volts. I'd like to get the original working again but dont know much about how the old original gauge works. Or how can I calibrate the newer one.
Thanks for everyones input
