Hey, anyone know where can I get data plate and vin number decoding info on a 64 ford wagon? Is it possible to get a copy of the original build sheet? Thanks for any help, RAY

As far as the build sheet I think you will be out of luck because they are for the particular car and usually put with that car. Sometimes they arre underneath above the gas tank, in the seats, behind a door panel, etc. When it comes to VIN's I did find this which may help you out. Good luck. VIN Decoding '60-'69 Ford

just don't tell anybody I have a 66' coupe driver door on my 65' early date code fastback...ok

Your right, I've been to all the sights. Lots of Mustang stuff. I don't need a new plate, the car is absolutely original. I have been able to decode the vin number but not the rest of the info on the data plate like color and trim, axle, transmission etc. Anyway thinks for the info..Ray
