Yup, an 010 block is an older flat tapped, heavy duty block. They came in 2 or 4 bolt main flavors depending on how heavy the scheduled duty was. Usually they show up in light duty half ton trucks and some mild V8’s passenger cars with 2 bolt mains. Then with 4 bolts in heavy duty trucks and high performance passenger cars from 1969 through 1980. They‘ve been the basis for factory performance engines like the DZ302, late 327’s and untold gobs of 350’s including the original LT-1.
Here’s a link to the codes, you got some options that the partial VIN code might unlock, at any rate except for the lack of factory roller cam provisions which whatever came in you 1990 would have had the 010 block is what builders of high out put engines look for.
