My son tells me that chevrolet in 1969 used a destroked 350 engine in the Z-28 camaro.I told him that I believed that it was still the 302 engine.Can someone please answer this question.Thanks alot Jim 32

Both are correct. It was a 302. This was derived from a 4" block (350) and a 3" stroke (283 style) large journal crank. You could also say it (302) was a destroked 327, or 350, as they all used the same 4" block.
