You guys with the AVS carbs do you like the electric or manual choke version?
I personally have always liked manual chokes.
With the Edelbrock carbs, the manual choke model is typically configured for performance, whereas the electric choke model is configured for economy.
This is done in the body itself, so they say that you can't simply re-jet the electric choke model to match the manual choke model.

So if you're going for performance, go manual.
If it's for more of a cruiser, go for whichever choke type you prefer.
