hello
I just convert my 71 nova to disc brake
everythings works fine.... may be way to much...

i have to be very carrefull with the pedal , and dont push all the way because
the brakes will lock the wheel

what can i do ?

Are you using the manual brake pedal and not the power brake pedal? Manual has a ratio of around 7:1, power has a ratio of around 4:1.

Did you swap in a disc brake master cylinder? Or at least disable the residual pressure valving. Otherwise the residual pressure valve can hold pressure on the caliper, causing the brakes to drag and possibly overheat after driving for a while. This can also make the brakes touchy, but the main problem is brake drag and the drum master cylinder having the wrong bore size.

If that's OK you can increase the master cylinder bore diameter or decrease the caliper bore diameter, or decrease the pedal ratio.

I would try the pedal ratio first. See if you can move the clevis to a hole nearer the pedal than where it is now. This may also require an adjustment to the pushrod length.
