Hi and thanks in advance for any help.
I have a 65 chevelle as with all old chevelles
they have a voltage regulator on the radiator
core support with stock set up. After ripping out
all the old engine stuff and dumping in modern engine
with alternator, "is the voltage regulator even needed any more"?
GM alternators have built in regulators I thought.
I am running mine without the separate voltage regulator. Seems to run
good. At time the charging gauge is up around 14+/- volts.
Any harm in not using the 65 set up?
Thanks
