epoxy block ?

I had a couple friends that poured the blocks full of the heat absorbing epoxy and just run coolant in the heads. The Epoxy mix can absorb a lot of BTU's, with less temp rise. The block was still warm on a monday noon from the sunday drags. A hemi and BBC race only engines

Jewel T

Joe Davis had a battery and starter and reverse in his record setting T altered, Most of his competitors were push or aux start. At one champ race the other guy kept having "trouble" getting staged jumping out then killing his engine then getting a push start. He wanted Joe to overheat. Joe just shut the T down and waited then He played the game and the other guy over heated and his engine was detonating on the run.
