I am trying to detemine what hub caps will fit on a 1939 Dodge wheel. I am interested in just the center moon. I don't want the outside rings. Will any moon fit on this wheel? :(

As long as the rim is designed for the centercap then yes the babymoon cap will fit the stock rim.
Hope this helps

Mooooooo MooooooN hubcaps

Ahhh
WE need to clarify what it WHAT.
MOON hubcaps are actually BALDIES. You want hubcaps (hubcaps cover the hub of the wheel where the bearing is, and out to about halfway onto the wheel)with no logo.
MOON (copyrighted) wheel covers were originally spun alumninum and sheetmetal screwed to the wheel rim, for use in running on BOnneville SPeed cars. The idea trickled down until MOON (copyrighted) finally made their spun alum wheel covers both ways- screw on and snap on with the pronged fingers we all know and love when it comes time to paint the wheels.
What fits what? You gotta research.
These days even a 39 is ancient. Google for JC Whitney for starters and check them out. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Browse/tf-Browse/s-10101/N-111+10201+600003829/c-10101
