thinking about moving down there from ny. looking for prefferably a 1/8 th mile track that might be around for a while.

There are several small tracks in that area. Roxboro (sp?) and Wilkseboro come to mind. Charlotte is a "ways" South and VMP is a bit North (30 miles S of Richmond).

A few in western VA as well. You'll have "access"...

There is a 1/8 mile track in Mooresville. About 2 hours or so from Raleigh. I believe it is used by G. Anderson and others as a test track. His shops are located near by.
