Hudson Hornet. The FIRST factory muscle car.
To own or to build?

To own, a Vector, Viper, or Lamborghini.

To build, a 1950 buick, a 1955-56 ford truck.
Out of all cars, and I love American V8's,this is the one car I would want.No ifs, ands or buts.Simply the most beautiful car to me is a Porsche 911.Any style 911 would satisfy me,any year. But this is the beast.911 GT2.

Mine would be a 1967 Corvette convertable, black with lime green racing stripes, black leather interior, chrome sidepipes, and since its a dreamcar, why not a 572 crate engine under the hood!

EDIT: Oh yeah I almost forgot to add that since its a dream car, that it also come with Brooke Burke wearing a bikini sitting in the passenger side.:mwink:
I own my dream car, it just doesn't look or perform like it did in my dreams, yet.

whoooaaa.....waaaay cool Weimer....I have loved those Cheetahs since I ran across an article many many years ago. 377 cubes...510 hp...2500 lbs....ran 215 at Daytona and 10.30s at the strip....Have you ever looked at the kit cars? I think the body is stretched to fit the 70's Vette frame. I would need A/C in my car though...I heard they were deadly hot!!!!
Once again, I'm with Weimer, and SandFlea

Everytime I get asked this question, the Cheetah is at, or near the top. What a cool looking car, and whats more, not very many people know they exist (not very many), and not every shmoe builds the Cheetah kit car. Dead Sexy.

Yo, "mistermuscles" I see your building a '34 Chevy, what style. Is it a Coupe, Sedan, etc. Just last fall I bought a '33 2dr. Sedan. Not a common car at all. I've seen one on Ebay, in Calgary. Have you looked to see if he'd sell you the hood? Or found anybody who makes a complete wood kit for the interior? Any good links for parts? I haven't started the '33 yet, The Caddy is first, but in the fall I will be starting the '33.

Hahaha, the one you saw on eBay was likely mine, it's a 2 door with a trunk in the back. I have been debating selling the car on and off, because I needed some money to pay the bills......but I got that all cleared up and I decided I'm gonna keep her! You can't imagine how happy I am that I can keep the 34'!

Unfortunately, I can't find a place that manufactures wood kits for my 34', so I am going to have to use as much of the original wood in my car as I can, and I am thinking that I will brace the body with steel tubing.

Parts wise, for your 33', check these websites out:

www.hotrodssuperstore.com
www.ocsr.com
www.chevywood.com
www.rootlieb.com

That should get you started! If you need any help with your 33', give me a shout!

Let's just hope that your 33' can turn out to look something like this, eh?

Thats the plan for mine, I have a 409, and a muncie 4 speed for the car. I have everything worked out other than the wood kit, I may just use square tubing and chuck all the wood.

If the one on Ebay was yours, do you still wanna sell the glass fenders, and running boards? I have a real nice set of fronts, and running boards but my rears aren't so great. So I was thinking I would go all glass.

I'll take this one just for fun...though I agree with AKM that the '59 Caddy is the ultimate factory-stock car.
