I have a 56 Ford with a built 351W, built C-4 and 9 inch rear. My problem is that I have a vibration about 2800 RPM in high gear. I went through the motor and completely balanced it, had the transmission checked out and had the center section looked at along with the driveshaft and everything checks out. Does anyone know how to check out the car for possible drivetrain misalignments?
Maybe the transmission to differential angle is off? If so how to you check it out and correct it?

Found out my problem. It was a driveshaft angle problem.

Hi Fred,
You may be right about the alingment of your transmision angle to your third member causing the vibration.
I would recomend you go to Inland Empire Driveline's web page as it has the best discription of the proper way to set up these angles I've seen.
They are located at <a href="http://www.iedls.com" target="_blank">www.iedls.com</a> and click on the power train set up section.
