I just Got a Duratrax Maximum ST, any of you people got any experience with these? Its got a torq 12 motor, I want a bigger motor, what should I get? anybody know of any companies that have free mail order catalogs for parts for gas powered RC cars

Any Small block engine will work. I believe SG crank shaft for that truck (make sure).

Small block engines are .12 - .18

Big Blocks being .21, and up

Best bet for anything RC would be use Ebay.

try a remote controled rc forum, theres lots of them. this is a hottroders forum for real cars the last time i checked. if you cant find any let me know and i can.

I think that tower hobbies is about the best site and catalog for parts. I have a .15 engine in my traxxas with a tuned pipe upgrade. With 20% nitro it will flat haul balls. The traxxas engines are pretty cheap, but I dont know if they will bolt right up to yours.
