I'm a 63 year old who just had a 350 chevy engine & turbo trans built and installed in a 1950 Ford Coupe that I have owned for 43 years. The old 6 banger
was shot so I went for it. I'm no mechanic but love rods. My first problems are:

1. I think it runs too hot. Has old stock radiator --refurbished. My mech thinks its ok. Gets up to bout 210+ on the gauge and overflows when I kill it.

2. Have a battery drain problem havn't figured out yet.


Would like to learn to work thru small things. My mech is 40 miles away.

Hi Dan...Welcome to Hotrodders....sounds like you need to buy a new Walker streetrod radiator for your car and also fan shroud if you do not have one. Just ask your questions in the appropiate forums and you should get some answers. :welcome:
